What is personal data?

According to Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR, personal data is any information relating to an identified (e.g. by means of name, address or e-mail address, etc.) or identifiable natural person. An "identifiable" natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more special characteristics.

Purpose and legal basis of the processing of personal data

a. When visiting our website

When you use our website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not contact us via our contact form, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server.

This involves the following data, which is necessary to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security: IP address, date and time of the request, content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, website from which the request comes, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of the browser software. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data.

The legal basis for the aforementioned processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (processing is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the controller).

When you contact us by e-mail or via our contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address and name as well as the content of your enquiry) will be stored by us in order to process and answer your questions or concerns.

We delete the data accruing in this context after storage is no longer necessary (usually after your request has been fully dealt with) or restrict processing if there are legal obligations to retain data.

Use of WP-Statistics

Only data relating to the date and time of the visit, the pages visited, use on the website, page functionalities used and the search engine from which the user accessed the website are stored. The IP address is transmitted anonymously and is only used for geographical classification at city level. The system uses this data to measure website activity, to compile statistics and to improve the services and information provided by the websites.

Use of web fonts

External fonts such as Google Fonts are used on this website. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). These web fonts are integrated by a server call. This is usually a Google server in the USA. This transmits to the server which website you have visited. Integration of YouTube videos

On our website we have embedded YouTube videos that are stored on Youtube and from our website can be played directly. We embed YouTube videos on our website to make using our website as user-friendly as possible by allowing you to watch videos without having to leave our website.

We would like to point out that calling up the website with an embedded YouTube video as described above leads to a connection being established with YouTube, YouTube sets a cookie and YouTube receives the information that the user has called up the corresponding sub-page of our website.
